This is turbulent freedom, a mad desire to break free of rigid views of shapes and colour palettes in a quest for rebellious creativity.

  • Starting with the designated theme of “Born to be Free”, Martina Micheli and Rosalba Fucci, students at the Politecnico di Milano, took inspiration for their concept from the fusion of two seemingly very different characters: the Tuscan cowboy and British biker of the 60s and 70s.
  • Thus was born the character of the new “easy-rider”, ever straddling the line between city and country, choosing to disregard society’s rules and observe only those of nature, thereby combining freedom and domination.
  • The students’ project stood out by virtue of its superb creative interpretation combined with great credibility, all enhanced by the techniques, yarns and various materials they used, including recycled and environmentally friendly resources.
